The Selkie swim collection sits at the heart of our brand, so we’ve been meticulous in our choice of fabrics. We've made sure that they fit the needs of open water swimmers while having the smallest possible environmental impact. And we’ve chosen to work with like-minded partners to manufacture sustainable, functional products of the highest quality.

Our swim collection is made from Vita, a sustainable techno fabric made from ‘Econyl’ - a 100% regenerated polyamide fibre produced from ocean waste.

The fabrics we use to make our swim range are not only recycled but versatile, hyper-resistant, soft, and breathable. They provide a unique mix of muscular compression and comfort, and they have a two-way stretch with a smooth finish to fit the body. Thanks to its innovative construction, our sustainable fabric is twice as resistant to chlorine, suntan creams, and oils than competitor fabrics.

Please note Selkie costumes are designed to have a close tight fit to give you the best swim possible, if you prefer a looser fit please go up a size.
